چکیده

Omics approaches provide more metabolic information to explain the relationship between dietary nutrition and fish growth. This study aimed explore metabolome proteome response of turbot ( Scophthalmus maximus ) fed diets containing lysine leucine in free dipeptide forms by integrated liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)-based metabolomics isobaric tags for relative absolute quantification (iTRAQ)-based proteomics. Plant protein-based were formulated contain equivalent amino acid [crystalline (CAA)] synthetic Lys-Leu (Lys-Leu) forms. The profiles liver screened either CAA diet or after an 8-week feeding trial. Fish showed a significantly higher final body weight specific growth rate compared with diet. Protein- acid-related processes identified groups based on differential metabolites proteins. proteolytic enzymes transporters from proteins that process protein digestion absorption may be affected different feed. A mechanistic target rapamycin complex 1 ubiquitin proteasome pathways proteins, which involved synthesis degradation liver. Lysine degradation, tryptophan metabolism, alanine, aspartate, glutamate arginine biosynthesis, proline glycine, serine, threonine metabolism various acids, including lysine, had been both groups. In conclusion, data metabonomics proteomics suggested feed affect absorption, metabolism. addition, good correlation was observed using LC-MS/MS-based iTRAQ-based

Turbot - Scophthalmus maximus

Distribution Th e turbot, Scophthalmus maximus, also called Psetta maxima (Scophthalmidae, Pleuronectiformes), is naturally distributed in European waters, from Northeast Atlantic to the Arctic Circle (30o to 70oN; 23oW42oE). It occurs in the Baltic and in the Mediterranean, as well as in the Black Sea, where a subspecies Psetta maxima maeotica has been described (1). It also exists in the Sout...

Systemic disease in turbot Scophthalmus maximus

A new group of Cytophaga-like bacteria has been recovered from healthy and diseased turbot in Scotland. Cultures produced orange colonies and contained short rods with distinctively thick cell walls. Gliding movement was observed and the guanine plus cytosine ratio of the DNA was 31.7 to 32.1 mols %. The organism caused gill hyperplasia and systemic haemorrhagic septicaemia in both naturally di...

Comparative expression analysis in mature gonads, liver and brain of turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) by cDNA-AFLPS.

Turbot is one of the most important farmed fish in Europe. This species exhibits a considerable sexual dimorphism in growth and sexual maturity that makes the all-female production recommended for turbot farming. Our knowledge about the genetic basis of sex determination and the molecular regulation of gonad differentiation in this species is still limited. Our goal was to identify and compare ...

Experimental susceptibility of turbot Scophthalmus maximus to viral haemorrhagic septicaemia virus isolated from cultivated turbot.

Juvenile pathogen-free turbot were infected with a viral haemorrhagic septicaemia virus (VHSV) isolate recovered from turbot cultivated on the island of Gigha, West Scotland. Mortality of 100% was recorded in fish infected via the intra-peritoneal (i.p.) route. Horizontal transmission of VHSV in sea water was demonstrated by cohabitation of naive fish with i.p. infected fish at a ratio of 1:1. ...

Epizoic amoebae from the gills of turbot Scophthalmus maximus.

Species of amoebae belonging to the genera Platyamoeba Page, 1969, Vannella Bovee, 1965 and Flabellula Schaeffer, 1926 were found to accompany Paramoeba sp., the agent of amoebic gill disease (AGD), in clinically diseased turbots. The same community of epizoic gymnamoebae was found on the gills of turbots which revealed no gill abnormalities but slight behavioral signs indicative of suboptimal ...
